KEY INGREDIENTS
- Kojic Acid: Because it inhibits melanin production, kojic acid is a dermatologically tested effective treatment for the treatment of melasma (e.g. spots after pregnancy) promoting radiant skin.
- Arbutin: A naturally occurring hydroquinone derivative found in bearberry leaves. Inhibits the production of melanin cells (melanogenesis) by blocking the action of tyrosinase. It whitens the skin, attenuates pregnancy marks, melasma and marks associated with sunburn. It is also a powerful antioxidant against free radicals.
- Niacinamide: Inhibits the transfer of melanin from the melanosome to the keratinocyte. Anti-inflammatory action, reduces skin redness.
- Salicylic Acid: Generates a keratolytic action that reduces intercorneocyte cohesion and destroys the lipids that bind the outer cells of the epidermis.
- Mandelic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid obtained from bitter almond extract. It has Exfoliants, moisturizing and anti-aging properties and works great for acne and blemishes. It also fights wrinkles and fine lines. It exfoliates the surface of the skin, accelerating the cell renewal process. Lightens the skin, without the risk of a regrowth effect with increased pigmentation. Safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin. Suitable for use on dark skin.
- Enoxolone: Also called glycyrrhetic acid or 18-B glycyrrhetinic acid, it is a molecule with anti-inflammatory activity and mechanism of action similar to corticosteroids, without belonging to this group.
