The product does not contain sugar, gluten, sweeteners, colorings or flavorings.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Instructions for use: It is recommended to take 5 g (1 tablespoon or 15 ml) of the food supplement per day. Mix the powder in water or other beverage and consume immediately after preparation. The package contains 40 doses.
The plastic measuring spoon is not included. This is our contribution to environmental protection.
Conservation: Store in a dry and dark place at a temperature up to 25 °C. Keep tightly closed. Consume within 3 months after opening.
A food supplement does not replace a balanced and varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose or amount. Keep out of reach of children.

What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein found in the skin and connective tissue. Types I and III of collagen are found in the skin, while type II is found in the connective tissue. Our body produces collagen on its own, but this "internal production" starts to decrease from the age of 20, at first less noticeably, but over the years more and more rapidly - from the age of 40 onwards, by up to 1% per year. The decrease in the level of collagen in the body is manifested externally, especially in the skin: it becomes less flexible, less elastic, loses hydration and wrinkles appear. Collagen can be introduced into the body by eating animal skin, ligaments or bones, but in minimal quantities. It can also be consumed in the form of quality food supplements, such as Valens Collagen Premium or Valens Collagen powder. Both contain sufficiently high amounts of hydrolyzed collagen.

Is collagen suitable for vegans?

Unfortunately, products with collagen are not suitable for vegans. Collagen is a substance found only in animals and humans. Most of the time, collagen is obtained from cow skin or fish.

What is collagen particle size and why is it important?

Collagen is a protein that our body produces by itself. In its original state, collagen is an extremely large molecule that is poorly absorbed by our body due to its size. Therefore, when adding collagen, it is important to choose hydrolyzed collagen, i.e. collagen that has been cut into smaller particles called peptides by a special method. The smaller the particles, the more easily the collagen is absorbed into the body, so the size of the particles is more important than the source and type of collagen. Originally, the collagen molecule is approx. 300,000 Da, and Valens Collagen powder contains particles up to approx. 4,000 Da, which allows excellent absorption.

Is Valens Collagen powder also suitable for pregnant women and nursing mothers?

Due to its pure composition, Valens Collagen powder is also suitable for pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Can Valens Collagen also be used for joints?

Valens Collagen Premium and Valens Collagen Powder contain hydrolyzed fish collagen type 1, which is the most widespread in our body and is found in both skin and other connective tissues (including joints), so the product can also be used for this purpose. Valens Collagen Premium also contains zinc, which contributes to bone health, and vitamin C, which aids in the production of collagen.

At what time of the day should Valens Collagen powder be consumed - is it necessary to consume it on an empty stomach?

You can take the product whenever you want without being tied to meals. The ingredients contained in Valens Collagen powder are well absorbed. Therefore, the time to take it depends on each person and their schedule.

Can I mix the powder with food?

You can mix the collagen powder with water or other beverages, milk, tea, fruit juices and smoothies, yogurt, cold coffee, protein drinks.... When preparing it, just pay attention to the temperature of the drink or food - always mix the collagen in a cold drink or food.
