INGREDIENTS

Active ingredients in 1 capsule: vitamin C: 180 mg (225% VAT*), astaxanthin: 4 mg, beta-carotene: 10 mg (equivalent to 1666 µg vitamin A or 208% VAT*), Nutroxsun® (grapefruit and rosemary extract): 100 mg, vitamin E: 14 mg (117% VAT*). * VAT - Recommended Daily Intake.
Ingredients: vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis (contains astaxanthin-rich turpentine), vitamin A (beta-carotene), Nutroxsun® (grapefruit extract Citrus paradisi and rosemary Rosmarinus officinalis), rice fiber, vitamin E (D-alpha tocopheryl acetate).
The product does not contain lactose, gluten or colorants. It is also suitable for vegans.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Instructions for use: The recommended daily dose is 1 capsule with meals. We recommend you to start taking it at least 2 weeks before sun exposure. The capsules are suitable for regular consumption.
Storage: Store in a dry and dark place at a temperature up to 25 °C.
Do not forget the importance of a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. A nutritional supplement does not replace a balanced and varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily amount or dose, keep out of the reach of children! The food supplement is not suitable for persons under 14 years of age.

Does Valens SunDoc also help with sun allergy?

Valens SunDoc contains selected ingredients that are clinically proven to protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays. Astaxanthin and Nutroxsun (combination of plant extracts) have been repeatedly shown to reduce the appearance of redness, reduce the skin's immune response, prevent damage to the deeper layers of the skin and thus damage to skin cells. Since sun allergy is usually the body's (immune system's) response to damaged cells (damaged by UV rays), it would make sense to take it, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee its effectiveness. After all, Valens SunDoc is a dietary supplement recommended for "healthy" people. Otherwise, the product contains safe ingredients that are beneficial to the skin and also contribute to more beautiful and smoother skin.

What is astaxanthin?

Astaxanthin is a natural substance found in some animals and plants. It belongs to the carotenoids, red and orange colorants, which include, for example, beta-carotene. Astaxanthin is found naturally in various types of algae, but the best source is algae of the genus Haematococcus pluvialis. Astaxanthin protects the latter (especially in dry periods) from unfavorable and harmful external conditions, e.g. against UV radiation and acts as an antioxidant. Because of its role in plants, it has become the subject of research and clinical studies that have demonstrated its efficacy.

Is Valens SunDoc suitable for pregnant women?

Due to the rather high beta-carotene (provitamin A) content, we do not recommend the intake of the product to pregnant or lactating women.

Can I take the product together with collagen?

Of course, it can be taken simultaneously with the collagen itself, but we do not recommend taking Valens SunDoc and Valens Kolagen Premium products at the same time. Valens SunDoc capsules contain a high dose (208% VAT) of vitamin A, which is also contained in Valens Collagen Premium (100% VAT). We therefore recommend that in this case you prefer to consume Valens hydrolyzed fish collagen powder.

Does Valens SunDoc also affect tanning or skin tone?

SunDoc contains ingredients that have been clinically proven to reduce oxidation and inflammatory processes in the skin and thus improve the skin's tolerance to sunlight exposure (UVA and UVB). Taking SunDoc does not reduce the skin's tan, but makes it more prepared and resistant to UV exposure.
