INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply to cleansed skin once daily. When introducing Architect into your skin care routine, use conservatively and cautiously, especially if you are already using strong actives. If you tolerate it well, you can eventually use this product twice daily. If you have hyper-reactive or sensitive skin, use once daily and follow with soothing products from our pink range, designed for sensitive skin.

Is the Architect serum right for you?
If you cannot tolerate retinoids; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have adult acne and need an anti-aging treatment; if you are looking for something equally effective as Retinoids, but less irritating, that you can combine with other potent actives.
On which skin types is it best to avoid Architect serum?
If you have Rosacea or active dermatitis (skin inflammation and acute irritation).
I am currently using Retinoids, can I alternate it with Bakuchiol serum?
Absolutely yes.
Can I use the Architect serum with my favorite Exfoliants ?
Yes you can, but we recommend that you exercise caution if you have sensitive skin. When you start using the Architect serum, be sure to monitor your skin's behavior and please understand that this is a potent active ingredient, even though it is not as irritating. We recommend that you start using the Architect serum twice a week if you wish to exfoliate daily and over time as your skin gets used to it, you will probably graduate to the simultaneous use of the hydroxy acids and Bakuchiol.
What is the key difference between Architect serum and Spectra serum? Both are emulsions in serum...
Yes, they are, but the difference is enormous.
The Spectra serum is designed to soothe skin inflammation, while the Architect serum is a very active restructuring product, functionally comparable to Retinol. If your skin suffers from inflammation, dermatitis or Rosacea, we suggest you use our sensitive skin range instead of Architect.

Architect
Skintegra Architect is an intensive emulsion intended for all skin types, including acne-prone skin, that want to treat photo-aging (hyperpigmentation) and the appearance of the first signs of aging (loss of elasticity and wrinkles).
It has a smooth, light, non-greasy texture that absorbs extremely quickly and leaves a beautiful silky feel on the skin.
The main active ingredient in Architect is Bakuchiol, a compound derived from the Psoralea Corylifolia plant. It is clinically proven to work as a functional analog of retinol, but without side effects that retinoids can cause on extremely sensitive skin.
In addition to containing 1% Bakuchiol, Architect's specificity is also evident in the combination of moisturizing and anti-inflammatory ingredients such as Ectoin, Green Tea, Panthenol, Allantoin, Caffeine and Resveratrol. It is clear that this combination of ingredients extracts the maximum potential of Bakuchiol, in addition to soothing, volumizing and protecting the skin with powerful antioxidants to make it resistant to other potent active ingredients that we can use as a complement.
BAKUCHIOL VS RETINOIDS
Retinoids are wonderful anti-aging and anti-acne ingredients. However, due to their irritation, extremely sensitive skin is generally not the best candidate for regular, long-term use. Speaking of Retinol, Bakuchiol is much less irritating, does not sensitize the skin in the sun and has a higher safety profile (it can be used in pregnant and lactating women). Because it is less irritating, Bakuchiol can be perfectly combined with other potent actives (such as Hydroxy Acids, Vitamin C, Niacinamide, etc.) as they have a wonderful synergistic effect on the skin. However, Retinoids are often too sensitizing to be mixed with other active compounds.
HOW DOES 1% BAKUCHIOL AFFECT THE SKIN OVER A 3-MONTH PERIOD?
- Anti-microbial action, treats S. aureus and P. acnes bacteria whose proliferation causes the appearance of acne and folliculitis.
