DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AHA'S AND BHA'S

Alpha and beta hydroxy acids (AHA's and BHA's) are a family of acids of natural origin (from plants and fruits) widely used in cosmetics for their ability to exfoliate, renew and moisturize, thus improving the texture, radiance and overall appearance of the skin.
The AHAs (glycolic, lactic, citric, malic, mandelic acids...) are water-soluble and therefore have moisturizing properties, provide radiance, soften expression wrinkles and acne marks and/or blemishes. Among them, glycolic acid is the most powerful exfoliant (and the smallest, so it penetrates the skin more easily) and glycolic acid is the most powerful exfoliant (and the smallest, so it penetrates the skin more easily) and glycolic acid is the most powerful exfoliant. mandelic acid The larger size allows it to penetrate more slowly, so it is suitable for sensitive skin.
Unlike AHA's, AHA's are not BHA's are liposoluble and have a great capacity to penetrate the pores and eliminate grease. The best known of all is salicylic acid, which comes from the willow tree (be careful, people allergic to aspirin should not use it). salicylic acid is a must-have ingredient in the care of oily and acne-prone skin as it prevents the formation of blackheads, keeps pores clean, is antibacterial and sebum-regulating.
