INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply to cleansed skin as the last step of morning skin care. Spread a good amount of product on the face and neck at least 10-15 minutes before going outside. If you are going to be directly exposed to the sun on a hot day, although it provides long-lasting protection, it is a good idea to reapply the product every few hours. Avoid contact with eyes.
FAQs
FAQs
What is the difference between Dermatologist SPF30 sunscreen and SPF50 sunscreen?
Both formulas protect against UVB rays, which are responsible for sunburn, and UVA, which are largely responsible for skin aging, and in fact both perform outstandingly in the UVA range: far exceeding the EU standard of 1/3, close to SPF. (5-star Boots rating) which means above average UVA protection even with SPF 30 (PPD 39) and fantastic with SPF 50 (PPD 54). The difference is that while SPF 30 filters out 96.6% of harmful rays, SPF 50 filters out 98%. If you have problems with hyperpigmentation spots, we recommend that you choose Dermatologist SPF50 sunscreen all year round, if you don't have this problem, then Dermatologist SPF 30 sunscreen will be a super choice. The SPF 30 has a light creamy lotion texture, the SPF 50 having higher protection "in exchange" slightly increase the texture being a little "thicker", more creamy.
What is the difference between Dermatologist Sunscreen SPF50 and Dermatologist Face Fluid SPF50?
Both formulas provide equally high and outstanding sun protection, but while Dermatologist Sunscreen Spf 50 is a creamier and more intensely moisturizing formula, Dermatologist Face Fluid SPF 50 is a lightweight liquid, specifically optimized for the face. The latter is an excellent choice if your skin is oily and you don't like creamy textures, or simply because you like sunscreens with an incredibly light, virtually unnoticeable finish.
Do I have to reapply every few hours?
What you should know: An SPF 50 sunscreen, if you use it in the morning in sufficient amounts (say half or more than a tablespoon amount for face and neck) and your daily life consists of going from home to the office, will provide an adequate amount of protection all day long. Otherwise, according to the official FDA (Food and Drug Administration) recommendation, sunscreens should be reapplied every two hours if you are constantly exposed to the sun. If you use this product at the beach, you should definitely reapply every few hours.
Is it suitable for skin with rosacea?
With rosacea skin, unfortunately, it is difficult to know things for sure beforehand. But you should know that this is a chemical (organic) sunscreen with conventionally used UV filters , so we recommend EVY foams with a higher proportion of mineral / inorganic sunscreens or new generation filters for your skin .
I have problematic skin (often with acne and oil), can I use it too?
Yes, feel free to try it :) The sunscreen Altruist SPF 50 has a slightly creamier lotion texture, but it's not heavy or sticky and doesn't cause a greasy feel. It also doesn't clog pores, so it can be part of your routine. On the other hand, you should note that it leaves a luminous finish. If texture is very important to you, then we recommend that you apply to your face Dermatologist Face Fluid SPF 50.
My skin is dry, can it be suitable for me?
Yes, it's even a super choice! Altruist SPF 50 is a formula that offers a wide range of protection, which we personally love as it has higher protection than usual in the UVA range. It's a creamy, moisturizing formula that integrates nicely into your daytime routine for dry skin.
DoesAltruist use chemical or physical (mineral) filters?
Altruist uses physical (mineral) and chemical filters for optimal protection against the sun's rays.
Why is Altruist available at such an affordable price?
The Altruist products have been developed by experts who want to change your attitude towards the sunscreen industry and prevent as many cases of skin cancer as possible; with low costs and prices, they encourage people to use sunscreen products more frequently and correctly.
Altruistwas developed by leading British dermatologist and surgeon Dr. Andrew Birnie and Dutch economist David Westerbeek van Eerten. The brand was born out of a shared passion for preventing people from getting skin cancer. They designed products in their spare time and used their own expertise and connections, achieving very low development cost prices; these savings have been passed on to the end customer in their very low prices.
Dermatologist Sunscreen SPF50
WHAT MAKES IT A UNIQUE PRODUCT?
Light lotion-textured sunscreen that leaves no white or thick residue on the skin. It has exceptionally high, long-lasting, broad-spectrum protection. The efficacy of the formula against UVA rays is particularly outstanding, as it far exceeds European standards (when the UVA symbol is circled, it means that it protects 1/3 of the SPF value against UVA rays. The SPF value, e.g. SPF 30, SPF 50, is only relative to UVB protection). Our products offer much higher broad spectrum protection against UVA rays, achieving the following values: 5-star Boots Star Ratio, PPD 54.
Contains a total of eight common and new generation sunscreens, including Tinosorb A2B, currently known as one of the most innovative and effective filters on the market, providing outstanding protection in the UV range where most other filters have weaknesses. It contains multiple filters that stabilize each other and provide effective and uniform protection across the entire UV spectrum.
Its light cream texture absorbs quickly, leaves no greasy or heavy feeling, but moisturizes well (thanks to glycerin, for example) leaving the skin silky and velvety.
Provides a satin finish (slightly more luminous than SPF 30), non-sticky formula, easy to apply.
Long-lasting and water-resistant formula, can also be used before outdoor sports.
FOR WHOM IS THIS PRODUCT INDICATED?
For those looking for a sunscreen with a good quality-price ratio, that is long-lasting and comfortable for daily use. For those who struggle with hyperpigmentation spots and skin aging. Also for those looking for a sunscreen with high UVA and UVB protection.
