Self Tan Mousse Medium/Dark

INGREDIENTS

Aqua, Dihydroxyacetone, Butane, Glycerin, Propane, Canola Oil, Polyglyceryl-4 Laurate/Succinate, Isobutane, Squalane, Propanediol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sorbitan Laurate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Erythrulose, Xylitylglucoside, Anhydroxylitol, Xylitol, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Sodium lauryl glucose carboxylate, Lauryl Glucoside, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Sorbic Acid.

Step 1:

• Exfoliate and remove unwanted body hair 24 hours before tanning.
• Apply to dry, well-cleansed skin. Do not apply an oil-based product just before tanning.

Step 2:

• Shake the bottle and hold it upside down so that excess gas does not escape.
• Apply the self-tanner on areas starting first on the face, then on the arms, then on the legs and finally on the torso. Massage the self-tanner into the skin with circular movements. Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not hesitate to use an application glove or wash your hands thoroughly.
• A handful of mousse is enough for an adult's arm.
• Note: does not contain sun protection factor. Do not expose to the sun before 12 hours.
  It is designed to be applied in layers. Apply a layer of bronzer all over the body for a nice tan. Let the first layer sit for about 5 minutes and apply another layer for a more intense tan.

Step 3:

• The product has no guide color to be washed off with water. The gradual tanning should not be washed off. The tanning effect is created on the skin.
• For optimal results, we advise avoiding showering, swimming and sweating for 4-8 hours (ideally 8hrs).
• Apply every day for 3-4 consecutive days to achieve a natural glow before resting a couple of days and starting again. Apply every other day continuously for a more subtle build-up and consistent light seven days a week.

Can a self-tanner make my hyperpigmentation worse?

Hyperpigmentation/uneven pigmentation is often due to skin aging, sun exposure, hormones, inflammation or other damage such as acne or other skin diseases. The active ingredient in tanning activator is anti-inflammatory, and there is evidence that it provides an even skin tone, which contradicts that it can increase hyperpigmentation. Naturally, irregular melanin, such as freckles, tends to darken. In addition, the product reduces the risk of sunburn/overexposure, which would help combat hyperpigmentation.

Can sunscreen be applied over self-tanner?

Apply sunscreen every day. It is still necessary to protect your skin with sunscreen. Make sure your sunscreen offers all of the following:
a. SPF 30 or higher
b. Broad spectrum protection (UVA/UVB protection)
c. Water resistance (this will protect your skin from the pool and the sea).
Using a sunscreen over a self-tanner is the best way to maintain an even skin tone and protect against sun damage. Be sure to let the self-tanner dry completely before applying sunscreen. Therefore, wait at least one hour after using a self-tanner; when it is dry, sunscreen can be applied. Apply self-tanner in the late afternoon or evening for best results. Apply sunscreen the same way you applied self-tanner.
