Can I use Exfoliants immediately after Volcanica?
Since the mask also has a slightly exfoliating effect (like any mask intended for purified pores), we recommend continuing moisturizing after use and concentrating on protecting the barrier.
Sulfur has a very unpleasant odor. What about Volcanica?
Volcanica has a neutral and discreet aroma, somewhat medicinal, reminiscent of sulfur, but definitely not a repulsive odor that sulfur normally has as a raw material.
Classic clay masks dry out my skin a lot, but I like the effect they have on my pores. Will Volcanica cause my skin to dry out?
Volcanica has an absorbing effect on excess sebum and dead skin cells, but does not dry out the skin, leaving it soft and fresh.

Volcanica is more than a clay mask. This product is formulated with a combination of high-quality clays (bentonite + silt), while the hydroglycerin base makes Volcanica creamier and significantly less drying than classic clay masks. The creamy texture of relatively low viscosity cleanses pores, soothes inflamed skin and maintains the skin's barrier function, without the usual feeling of dryness and tightness.
Why is this mask so special? Volcanica is an exceptional mask, formulated with a moisturizing glycerin base and without the addition of oils, which gives it a soft texture. Its base contains silt and hygroscopic clay, as well as the addition of zinc, which perfectly nourish skin prone to excessive sebum secretion, clogged pores and blemishes. Zinc and copper (Cu-Zn) constitute an excellent and traditionally known combination for the care of very sensitive and blemish-prone skin.
What is slime? Silt is a thermal mud found in hot springs and is therefore rich in elemental sulfur (which is why the mask also has a faint sulfur smell), silicon and magnesium and even contains copper, manganese and selenium - essential minerals for skin health. The fine particles of colloidal sulfur in the slime very effectively treat dermatological conditions that are manifested by inflammation, irritation and congestion, making this mask an ideal complement in the care of skin prone to acne and excessive sebum production.
This product has a minimalist formulation rich in anti-inflammatory and regenerating minerals, humectants, Tazman pepper™ complexes that reduce skin reactivity, and clays that attract superficial impurities, leaving the face soft and clean in just 10 minutes.
